Plate Glass Window is the ambient project of Joe Causey, built from modular synthesizers, layered instruments, and field recordings.

The work tends to begin with electronics left to run on their own terms, outside of tempo or structure, with layers of performed instruments over them — an imperfect human touch against those systems that gives the music its warmth. Field recordings run underneath, another thread of something human.

What it adds up to is a space to sit in: an environment for rest, or for working through whatever you carried in.
